Emma Lamond
Emma's key methodologies include engaging children and young people in fun, drama-related activities as a way to support their mental health and well-being. Emma graduated with First Class Honours in Drama, Applied Theatre and Education from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, where she focused her studies on the use of games to support learning in STEM subjects. Emma continues her work supporting hard to reach communities to engage in theatre in a variety of freelance roles, and has recently begun delivering adult training courses in the methodologies that she uses.
Imogen Cahill
Imogen has a long-standing interest in supporting people at-risk to engage in conversations around difficult topics, and is a firm believer in the power of fun to support this work. She began her career working in Parliament for the now Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, before undertaking her degree in Drama, Applied Theatre and Education, which she completed with First Class Honours. Since graduating, Imogen has worked on various programmes supporting the well-being of young people through the use drama, alongside making her own creative work.
Founders
Unblurred Lines was set up by founders Lauren Nathan-Lane and Emily Dyer in 2016. In 2018, the project was handed over to Emma Lamond and Imogen Cahill, who have continued to deliver and extend the programme.
Lauren and Emily met whilst studying the MA Applied Theatre course at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. Since handing over Unblurred Lines to Emma and Imogen, they have continued to work with young people in the mental health and knife crime prevention sector.
