Unblurred Lines is a theatre project which aims to combat sexual violence. We create dedicated time and space in the lives of children and young people for them to discuss, and better understand, their rights and responsibilities in relationships of all kinds. We do this by delivering educational, fun, theatre-based workshops and projects, led by highly trained practitioners.
Our work engages with young people of all genders, abilities and life experiences. We use drama-based activities to build self-esteem, social skills and creativity, which acts as a way of supporting children to better understand the world around them, and the relationships they have or may go on to have within that. Through the use of fun activities and games, we encourage children to have age-appropriate discussions around topics such as consent, online safety, abuse and Child Sexual Exploitation.
We work in conjunction with Local Authorities, mainly based in and around the London area, to provide both one-off workshops and longer term projects in schools, youth centres and Pupil Referral Units. Our work can often culminate in a performance piece or presentation. If you are interested in talking to us more about this work, or want to book us for a workshop, please get in touch at info@unblurredlines.com.
